I really am your sister in health!
I created SHIFT because I know that the "one-size-fits-all" approach that works in younger populations doesn't work for women who are 50+. I want to help you feel strong and capable in your body, regardless of your age or current functional level. I also believe that anyone can improve their health and feel better about themselves with the right support.
Why am I the right person to help you? Along with my almost two decades of work in healthy aging research, I have a Masters of Science (Exercise Physiology) and a Masters of Health Studies (in both degrees, my final thesis was on healthy living interventions for older adults). I'm also a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, a Certified Balance and Mobility Specialist, an American College of Sports Medicine, Exercise is Medicine – Level II Specialist. Why does this matter? I've spent the past 30 years of my life dedicated to collecting knowledge and training in healthy living to provide the very best information to you, my fellow Age Sister. 😊
